Living the Dream?

I have had the dream of having a retail fishing business for more than 15 years. It’s had several formats over the years but none of them have ever been real. I’ve said for years that I was going to start my business but never actually did it. I guess I’ve always had one excuse or another. I could very well have those same excuses right now but I’m going to ignore them. It’s time to do it. I don’t know how it will turn out or what it will look like along the way. Currently I have nothing to sell because I still don’t have any money to start a retail business so my goal right now is to create what will hopefully be useful content for everyone.

My son is now six years old and loves to go fishing. Last year at age five he learned to cast a spinning reel and he did very well early on catching bass on a jerkbait and then progressed to a shaky head, drop shot and wacky rig senko. Bringing that process to people would be so cool. Since my daughter will be four this summer hopefully we can see that progression with her. The water is starting to warm up so we should be getting on the water soon, unless we are all on lockdown, so check back with us and see what is hitting the boat deck.
